Admin Reference Guide

This guide is designed to help you quickly understand and navigate the settings in Fullcast. Each section corresponds to a specific settings tab in the app, it includes common tasks carried out in that section, and links to how-to documentation.

1. Plan Information

Common Tasks

  • Setting data filters for record import at the plan level. For example, if you only want to import “prospect” accounts into your territory plan and exclude “customer” accounts.
  • Configuring Auto-Rerun Rules. For example, if you want to set a process for automatically re-running rules on Unassigned nodes in a plan.
  • Enable a plan for export
  • Duplicate a plan

2. Jobs

Common Tasks

  • Reviewing job status indicators and notes to troubleshoot issues. For example if a job failed or had errors.
  • Understanding types of imports and export settings, scheduling jobs, and conducting ad hoc jobs

3. Users

Common Tasks

  • Adding new users, configuring their access levels, assigning Tenant Admin status
  • Blocking or deleting inactive users.

4. Audit

Common Tasks

  • Reviewing activity audit logs for troubleshooting or compliance purposes. For example, you want to see who last committed changes or when someone last logged in.

5. Metrics

Common Tasks

  • Creating metrics to track KPIs and leverage in territory balancing rules
  • Reviewing inputs for existing metrics. For example, if you have a metric for “Number of Tier A Accounts” and you want to confirm which CRM field is being used in the metric.

6. Tenant Settings

Common Tasks

  • Determining which fields will be available to search for people to assign coverage. For example, you could include name fields as well as a manager field to facilitate search.
  • Setting tenant defaults for how data displays in the table/grid.

  • Creating or editing fields for specific entities.
  • Configuring address mappings for hierarchical data.
  • Managing participation in account and opportunity hierarchies.

The Policies section is where you establish the Connected App Settings and define Policy Tags.

  • Configuring routing rules for accounts and opportunities.
  • Defining exceptions for named accounts.
