Follow this configuration process to set up your Fullcast instance and establish an integration connection between Salesforce and Fullcast. For more information, refer to the Salesforce Integration Requirements or contact customer support.
Note
The first tenant admin is created by support upon the first configuration of your Fullcast environment.
Note
The managed package is not included in the AppExchange and will count towards Salesforce limits. Although there are a few triggers, they are toggled off by default in the custom metadata.
Create an API integration user in Salesforce and assign the user permission sets included in the managed package.
Note
These permission sets will allow Fullcast to import the minimum required data.
Connect Fullcast to Salesforce—copy the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret data from Salesforce and paste it in the Motion settings of Fullcast.
Run the first import—turn off the Use Custom Import/Export Jobs option and work with your CSM to set up Xplenty and the connected app.
Select and configure users authentication options:
Configure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)—to require users to have multiple verification factors to access Fullcast.
Configure Single Sign-On (SSO) and SCIM—to establish a connection between your Identity Provider (IdP) and Fullcast for authentication and system synchronization.
Note
For identity management tasks, such as creating users and resetting passwords, use the Fullcast Tenant Administration or the customer's SSO infrastructure. Fullcast supports Just-In-Time provisioning, so no separate identity management is required specifically for Fullcast.
Add users and configure access and permissions.
Note
Fullcast will invite one tenant admin during the provisioning process. That tenant admin will then need to add additional tenant admins and users. Tenant admins can add users and configure access and permissions.
Configure basic entities and fields—add your Data to Fullcast.
Note
The Fullcast standard package includes five default entities, each pre-populated with certain mandatory fields necessary for maintaining the integration. You can further customize your entities and fields.
Configure tenant settings—configure tenant-wide items, including viewing license counts, people settings, fiscal settings, details panel, grid settings, account families settings.
Review export-import settings related to your connections, export, and errors.
Create custom metric settings for territories, teams, and products.
Tip
Territories are typically the first place to start for metrics.
When it comes to territory metrics, consider what metrics you may want to use in territory balancing, view them as summary metrics and include them in reports/dashboards.
Ensure that the entities and fields you will need in order to configure the metrics calculations are available to you in Fullcast.
Congratulations! You have successfully completed your tenant setup process. Now you can create your own geographic territories and motion policies to get the complete Fullcast experience!
