Friction-free Salesforce managed package

This release deprecated these fields and introduces the following options:

    • Custom metadata type: Provides a dedicated and flexible space for your policy settings.

    • Policy object: Allows direct association of configuration data with individual policies themselves.

For more information on deprecated fields, refer to Package 2.180 Release Notes.

      Note

      • The configurable fields for each policy can be selected either on the respective policy page or set up in custom metadata types provided by Fullcast.

      • The next release will require customers to use their custom fields instead of the deprecated fields.

No reported bug fixes for this release.

Release 2022.09.23

    • Balance by number of accounts: When the there are a large number of accounts, balance the territories with an equal share of accounts to help in proper sales planning.

    • Disruption minimization rule: If you add this rule as the first priority, the system will ensure that no account relationships are disrupted during the creation of the territories and during runtime with automated re-run rules during import.

  • Criteria filters: You can now limit the records which are considered in the various SmartPlan criteria using a new filtering capability.

Target calculation

  • When the target was moved from one node to another, the targets were then split. The impact will depend on the effective changes that are applied.

    Example

If you want the changes to be effective from June, then the data from January to May will be in the old node, and June to December will be in the new node.

Tribute targets automatically

  • The automatic distribution of targets will now automatically add targets to newly created territories when you enable this option in the Target configuration.

Flexible target timeframes

  • Now targets can have a flexible time period and you can create targets for less than 12 months.

If you move people from one manager or one team in the middle of the year—you can now keep the target and attainment until the effective date with the old manager and move the target for the rest of the year to the new manager.

    Note

This only applies to person targets.
