Notifications are in-app and email messages you can opt in to receive based on events in Fullcast. These messages provide basic information when certain events take place and either succeed or fail. Notifications give you information on what is happening in your Fullcast instance so you can keep track of changes and spot problems quicker.

Opt in to notifications

You can opt in to receive in-app and email messages for specific category events in Fullcast. Events are any action that is taken in Fullcast, either by a user (target creation) or automatically (scheduled jobs) which are recorded in the audit log whether the event succeeds or fails.

All users can opt in to any notification category, however you will only receive notifications based on your user role and permissions in Fullcast. For example, if you are a regular user and you opt in to target notifications, you will only receive notifications for certain events if you are designated as a special user or a node manager. Refer to Personas and Notification events fore more information.

Personas

Personas indicate the permissions you have in Fullcast and which notifications you will receive. Manage role-based notifications in the Notifications and Alerts section of your plan settings for node managers and special users to receive specific notifications.

Persona

Description

Tenant admins

Highest level of access with unrestricted permissions across the entire Fullcast tenant. Designated by the Permissions field in the User Management settings.

Node managers

Specific roles designated in the the Notifications and Alerts section of your plan settings that users are assigned to.

Impacted users

Users who are directly impacted by the event, such as assignment changes and assigned notes.

Impacted user's proposed managers

Proposed manager of the users directly impacted by the event.

Impacted user's current manager

Current manager of the users directly impacted by the event.

Special users

Specific users that are designated in the the Notifications and Alerts section of your plan settings.

System admins

Users responsible for the technical setup and maintenance of the Fullcast environment. Designated by the Permissions field in the User Management settings.

Notification events

The following lists the events you will receive notifications for when you opt-in. You can reference events from the audit log in your settings to view detailed information about the event.

Notification channels

There are two channels available where you can receive notifications. You can select which channel you will receive notifications or receive it via all available channels by default.

Email

Email messages will deliver to the email you use to login to Fullcast. If you do not receive Fullcast notification emails, check your spam and ensure donotemail@fullcast.io is whitelisted.

Inbox

An alert will display the notification as soon as the event triggers. You can access past inbox or in-app notifications from Notifications in the top toolbar.
