Mass update assignments

Use the Mass Update option to update multiple active assignments for Territories, Teams, or Products in the plan with new start or end dates simultaneously.

  1. Log in to Fullcast.

  2. Click on Manage Coverage from the appropriate tile for which you want to update assignments:

    1. To update territory assignments, go to Territories > Mange Coverage.

    2. To update team assignments, go to Teams > Manage Team Coverage.

    3. To update product assignments, go to Products > Manage Product Coverage.Manage Coverage option highlighted on Product, Teams, and Territories tiles.

  3. From the left menu, select the node from where you would want to clone assignments:

    1. If in Territories, select a territory node.

    2. If in Product, select a product node.

    3. If in Teams, select a team node.

  4. Click Actions > Mass Update.Actions menu and Mass Update option highlighted.

  5. In the Mass update on Assignments window, complete the following fields to filter the assignments you want to update, as needed:

    Select the node option from which you want to update.Displays available options from the Clone from dropdown.

    Criteria

    Use And and Or operators with selected conditions to add additional criteria by which to sort what assignments to include when you update assignments.Displays an example of filtering criteria that can be selected.

    Start Date and End Date

    Select the start and end date criteria based on when you want the assignment to start and end.

    • Days: Number of days from the source start or end date.

    • Fiscal Year: Choose the fiscal year on which to  start or end the assignment.

    • Custom date: Choose a specific date you prefer to start or end the assignment.

    • Leave as is: Select this option if you need the start or end date to stay the same while updating the other.

      Displays the Start Date and End Date options.

  6. Click Next.

  7. In the confirmation window, type CONFIRM then click Confirm.

    Note

    • It may takes a few minutes to complete the update. The more assignments selected, the longer the update may take.

    • If there is an error updating assignments, an error icon temporarily displays.

      • Go to Settings > Audit > Logs and locate the log with the event name assignments.massUpdate and your username to view details regarding the error.
