Use the Confirm New Hire workflow to assign a new hire to a territory or team where you have a TBH placeholder. It is best practice to use this workflow rather than deleting the TBH and creating a new assignment. This is especially important if you are using the Scenarios module for capacity planning.
Confirm a new hire
Go to the appropriate module (Teams or Territories) > Manage Coverage.
Locate the TBH placeholder assignment you want to update.
Click the menu â‹® then select Confirm New Hire.
On the Confirm New Hire screen, from the dropdown select the name of the employee who will fill the position.
In the Effective date field, select the date the employee will start the coverage assignment.
Click Next.
On the confirmation screen, check all the information is correct for the person filling the role.
Click Next.
On the Ramp Assumptions page, confirm the ramp assumptions and click Next.
If the same placeholder exists for another assignment, confirm the information of employee filling each coverage assignment and the ramp assumptions.
Click Confirm.
Note
The original TBH will become an inactive assignment and will be crossed out in the Employees tab.
A new active assignment will be created for the new hire with the selected start date.
Delete inactive TBHs
Inactive TBHs do not impact anything in your Fullcast instance, but you can remove them if you want.
Inactive TBH coverage in the Territories Coverage tab have an Inactive label and a warning symbol on the assignment coverage card.
Go to Territories > Manage Coverage.
Click Filter.
On the Quick Filter window for By Status select Inactive.
Click Filter.
Locate the inactive TBH assignments you want to delete.
Click the menu â‹® > Delete.
In the Delete Confirmation window, type
DELETE
