Your Salesforce Consumer Key and Consumer Secret are equivalent to a password. If they are shared outside a secure channel, they should be regenerated immediately. First regenerate your credentials in Salesforce. Then, update the credentials in Fullcast. Finally, contact support to confirm.
Step 1: Regenerate your credentials in Salesforce
External Client App (recommended for new setups)
In Salesforce, go to Setup > Apps > External Client Apps > External Client App Manager.
Find your Fullcast app and open it.
Go to the Settings tab > OAuth Settings > Consumer Key and Secret.
Click Rotate to generate new credentials.
Connected App (legacy)
In Salesforce, go to Setup > Apps > App Manager.
Find your Fullcast app and click View.
Click Manage Consumer Details.
Click Rotate to generate new credentials.
Step 2: Update the credentials in Fullcast
After rotating, update Fullcast with the new credentials:
External Client App
Go to Settings > Integrations and re-enter the new Consumer Key and Consumer Secret.
Connected App (legacy)
Go to Settings > Policies > Connected App Settings and re-enter the new credentials.
Step 3: Confirm with support
Reply to the ticket to let us know you've completed the rotation. We'll confirm the connection is working and close out the security flag. Need help? We're happy to walk through this on a call. Just let us know and we'll get something scheduled.
