A title describes the level or seniority a person holds, such as Enterprise AE or Senior Enterprise AE. Titles are tenant-wide: you define each one once, then associate it with the plans and roles that use it, rather than recreating it per plan.
Before you begin
You need admin access to Fullcast to create, edit, or retire titles.
How titles differ from roles
A title is independent of a person's role. A role describes what someone is accountable for on a territory or team through a coverage assignment, and a person can hold several roles at once. A title describes who the person is right now, and a person holds only one active title at a time. See Roles and titles: when to use each for the full comparison.
Create a single title
Go to Settings > Titles.
Click + Add Title.
Enter the title's Name, for example Senior Enterprise AE, and a Description.
Click Save.
Bulk create titles via CSV import
To bulk create titles via CSV import, prepare a CSV containing one column for the title Name and, optionally, a column for the Description.
Go to Settings > Titles.
Click Import CSV.
Select your CSV.
Click Import.
Once a title exists in the tenant, associate it with each plan that should use it.
Associate a title with a plan
Before you can assign a title to people in a plan, add it to a role in that plan. You create each title once per tenant, and you can add the same title to roles in more than one plan.
Add a title to a role
Go to Roles & titles > Manage roles & titles.
Find the role you want to add the title to.
Click the expand icon (>) to the left of the role.
Click Add title.
Complete the following fields:
Title: Select an existing title from the dropdown, or type a name to create a new title.
Description: Optional. Enter a description for the title.
Default ramp profile: Optional. Select a default from the ramp profiles available for the role.
Retire a title
Retiring a title removes it from use without deleting its history.
Go to Settings > Titles.
Find the title you want to retire.
From the ⋮ menu, select Retire.
