Ebsta’s Relationship Score quantifies the strength of business relationships by evaluating communication patterns and engagement across four key factors.
Quantity
More interactions generally indicate a stronger relationship.
Frequent communication boosts the score because it shows consistent engagement.
Weighting
Not all touchpoints carry equal value.
Meetings have greater impact than calls, which in turn are stronger than emails.
The quality and depth of an interaction matter as much as its occurrence.
Direction
The score emphasizes two-way engagement rather than one-sided outreach.
Balanced, reciprocal communication (e.g., prospects replying to emails or attending meetings) is more valuable than spamming.
Recency
Recent activity provides a stronger lift to the score.
However, without ongoing interactions, this boost fades over time.
When is the Relationship Score updated?
We do our best to update the Relationship Score every 24 hours. This is contingent on a number of factors including us getting access to read and write data from a number of sources. Occasionally we have seen either transient connectivity issues or an orgs API limit affecting us from processing 100% of Relationship Scores. If this is the case the system is designed to catch up so be assured it will be updated as soon as it can be.
