View signing status for a document

The Multiple Signers Status Modal shows the full signing picture for a sent document in one place: the signing recipient's current status, each approver's review status, and any CC recipients included on the send. You can also replace an in-flight approver directly from this modal.

Open the signing status modal

The signing status modal is available for any document that has been sent.

  1. Go to Documents > Document Management.

  2. Select the document group that contains the document.

  3. In the Document Recipients grid, find the recipient.

  4. Choose one of the following ways to open the signing status modal:

    1. In the Status column, click the info icon in the recipient's row.

    2. On the right side of the recipient’s row, click the menu ⋮ > Multiple Signers Status.Document status overview showing pending and signed transactions with action options.

Status modal sections

The modal is organized into three sections, detailed below.

Section

What it shows

Recipient

The signing recipient's name, email, and current document status (Sent, Viewed, Signed, Declined, and so on).

Approvers

Each approver in the route, listed in order, with their current review status. If an approver is actively being waited on, a Replace Approver option appears next to their name.

CC

The email addresses of any CC recipients included on this send.

Replace an approver from the status modal

You can replace an in-flight approver without leaving the modal. Refer to Replace an in-flight approver for step-by-step instructions.

  1. From within the status modal, click the Edit. On the right side of the recipient’s row, click the menu ⋮ > Multiple Signers Status.

  2. Click Edit multiple signers.

  3. In the Multiple Signers Status modal, click the edit pencil.

  4. Click in the Type field to access a drop down for the approver type, and select the appropriate approver type.

Note

Bulk export of signing status is not currently available. To review status across all recipients, use the raw reports available in the Documents module.
