The Show Role Details option relabels every territory in your hierarchy with the name of the person covering it, so you can read coverage from the Accounts tab instead of opening the Coverage tab. Use it to check who owns which territory, and to find territories with nobody assigned.
Before you begin
You need a territory plan whose hierarchy you can open from Manage Accounts.
You need at least one role with coverage assignments. Only roles that are currently active or start in the future appear in the Roles list; roles that have ended do not.
Show role assignments in the hierarchy
Go to Territories and click Manage Accounts.
Click the more options icon (three vertical dots).
Select Show Role Details.
From the Roles list, select one or more roles in order of precedence. The order you put them in decides which name each territory shows — see How Fullcast chooses the name to show below.
Optional: Select Show coverage gaps to narrow the hierarchy to only territories that have nobody assigned.
Optional: Select Hide Inactive Assignments to leave out names of people whose assignments that have already ended.
Optional: From Fiscal, choose the period you want to see assignments for.
Click Confirm.
Each territory in the hierarchy now shows the name of the person covering it as its main label, with the territory name underneath in smaller text.
Note:
Your selections are remembered for you on this plan and module. The next time you open Show Role Details there, the same roles, checkboxes, and fiscal period are already filled in. If a role you had selected has since ended, Fullcast drops it from the saved selection. Other users are not affected by your choices.
How Fullcast chooses which person’s name to show
A territory can have several people covering it, so Fullcast has to pick one name per territory. It works down the roles you selected, in the order you put them in:
At each territory, Fullcast uses the first role in your list that has an assignment there.
If that role has nobody assigned at that territory, Fullcast falls back to the next role in your list, and so on down the list.
If two or more people share the winning role at that territory, Fullcast shows the name that comes first alphabetically, followed by a count of the others.
Only the winning role is counted. People assigned to the roles further down your list are not shown at that territory.
If none of the roles you selected has an assignment at that territory, the territory shows TBD.
Example: You select BDR, AE, and Sales Manager, in that order. A territory with a BDR shows the BDR. A territory with no BDR but an AE shows the AE. A territory with only a Sales Manager shows the Sales Manager. A territory with none of the three shows TBD.
What each label means

Role names longer than five characters are shortened to their initials, so Sales Manager appears as (SM). Shorter names such as (AE) and (BDR) appear in full.
Choose the fiscal period
The Fiscal setting controls which assignments count as current. Fullcast shows only assignments that overlap the period you choose, so a territory can show one person for this year and a different person for next year. Fiscal defaults to the current fiscal year.
Hide assignments that have ended
Select Hide Inactive Assignments to leave out assignments that have already ended. Assignments that are active now, and assignments that start in the future, are both kept.
This setting removes assignments, not territories. When a territory's only assignment for the winning role has ended, that territory falls back to the next role in your list, or shows TBD if no role is left.
Show only territories with no coverage
Select Show coverage gaps to narrow the hierarchy to the territories where none of your selected roles has an assignment.
Territories with coverage assignments are not shown in the hierarchy.
Every territory that is shown in the hierarchy will show TBD, which tells you nobody is assigned, not which role is needed.

Note
The top-level territory always stays in the list while Show coverage gaps is selected, even when someone is assigned to it. Because covered territories are removed, you also cannot expand a covered branch to look inside it. Clear the Show coverage gaps checkbox to see the full hierarchy again.
Find a territory by who covers it
While role details are shown, the hierarchy search matches both territory names and the names on the labels. Search for a person to jump to the territories they cover.
Turn the role labels off
To go back to plain territory names, open Show Role Details again, select No Role Details in the Roles list, and click Confirm. No Role Details works on its own; if you select it together with a role, Fullcast keeps the role.
