What is a role?
A role is a specific set of responsibilities assigned to an individual.
How do I create a role?
To create a new role:
- Access your Fullcast instance and switch plans if applicable.
- Click Manage Roles on the Roles tile.
- Click Add Role and complete the form as applicable.

What information can I view on a Role Card?
- Role Status: Identifies if the role is active or not.
- Role Title: Identifies the role type title.
- Net Ramped Resource: The effective capacity you have of that role type. This number reflects the headcount of that role count, factoring in any ramp schedules.
- Productivity Profile: The number of different productivity profiles you have for a role type.
- Temporary Assignments: The number of active temporary assignments (TBT, TBH, and TBR) that you have for a role type.

How do I filter a Role?
Filter your roles by clicking the quick filter button and adjusting the parameters as necessary and clicking Filter.
How do I export a role?
When creating a role, you have the option to identify if the role is available for export or not. Checking the box enables you to process role-related data to Salesforce. To enable a role for export:
- Access your Fullcast instance and switch plans if applicable.
- Click Manage Roles on the Roles tile.
- Click the More Options icon (three vertical dots) and select Edit. Alternatively, click Add Role to add a new role.
- Check the box Export this Role.
Can roles be deleted?
No. Roles can only be retired. This is to ensure that any assignments associated with the role are managed properly.
What is a TBH?
TBH stands for To Be Hired and is a position that needs to be filled by hiring a new employee.
What is a TBT?
TBT stands for To Be Transferred and represents a role that will attrit and needs to be replaced.
What is a TBR?
TBR stands for To be Replaced and represents a role that will move and needs to be replaced.
