Requirements: Set up of this requires Salesforce Administrator credentials. If you do not them, please contact your Salesforce Administrator.
What’s changing
From early September 2025, Salesforce will block end users from using uninstalled connected apps.
Exception: users who previously authorized the app and the app does not use the OAuth 2.0 device flow.
Apps using device flow will be blocked for all users.
New users will likely see the error shown below:-
What admins should do
New users will not be able to authenticate into Ebsta using Salesforce until the app has been installed.
To install the app in Salesforce admins should:
Go to Setup → Connected Apps OAuth Usage.
Look for "Ebsta" and "Ebsta identity Services" in the list, and click the Install button
Then click Install
Once thats been installed, users should be able to access Ebsta as usual.
