Add Revenue Intelligence to Salesforce Page Layouts

Requirements: Ebsta needs to have been installed & connected to Salesforce: Install Ebsta into Salesforce

Ebsta's front-end component can be added to the Page Layout of each desired Object e.g. Accounts, Leads and Opportunities.  We recommend that Ebsta is only added to Page Layouts that are accessible to Administrators until configuration is fully complete.

If you want to add Ebsta to a Lightning Record Page, please follow these steps: 

1. Click the Gear icon and click Setup.
   
2. Click Object Manager
   
3. Click on your chosen Object  e.g. Account
   
4. Click Page Layouts.
   
5. Select the correct Page Layout from the list e.g. Account (Admin) Layout.*
   
   • We recommend that Ebsta is only added to Page Layouts that are accessible to Administrators until configuration is fully complete.
   1. Scroll down the menu and click Visualforce Pages.
   
6. Select Section and drag it down into the Page Layout.  When it has turned green, you will be able to drop it into the layout.
   
7. Add the following properties and click OK.
   
8. Now select Ebsta and drag it into the newly created Ebsta Section. When it has turned green, you will be able to drop it into the layout.
   
9. Click the Spanner in the Ebsta section.
   
10. Add the following properties and click OK.****
11. Click Save As and choose a Page Layout Name to help identify that it includes Ebsta (e.g. Account (Admin) Ebsta Layout).  Click Save.
    
12. Return to your list of Page Layouts.  You will see the newly created layout in the list.   Click Page Layout Assignment.
    
13. Click Edit Assignment.
    
14. Select the new Page Layout from the dropdown menu and then select the Profile(s) you wish to assign the new Page Layout to e.g. System Administrator and then click Save.
    
15. Repeat the above process for each of your other desired Objects.

Add Ebsta to Salesforce Lightning Record Page

1. Click the Gear icon and click Setup.
   
2. Click Object Manager
   
3. Click on your chosen Object  e.g. Account
   
4. Click Lighting Record Page
   
5. Select which Record page you wish to add Ebsta to.
   
6. Click Edit
   
7. Drag the Visualforce tab from the left-hand menu onto the page.
   
8. Click on the new Visualforce component you have added to your page.  In the right-hand menu, choose Ebsta as the page name and set the height to 500 and then click Save.
