Recalculate and distribute top down targets (v2)

Manually recalculate a target for selected nodes when you need to make changes, such as adjust the goal, to the target. Distribute top down targets to cascade them to lower-level nodes. In the distribution process, you can adjust the target goal, such as to factor in uplift.

Note

If auto recalculation is enabled on the target, recalculations are automatic when dependencies change. You can manually recalculate a target any time whether auto recalculation is enabled or disabled. Auto recalculation is disabled by default, you can enable auto recalculations in the target settings.

Manually recalculate and distribute a target

1. Find the top down target you want to recalculate.

2. Click the menu ⋮ > Recalculate & Distribute.

   

3. From the left menu, select one or more nodes you want to include.

4. Complete the following sections, as needed:

   Section	Description
   Effective Date	Toggle on to schedule a date when the recalculations and roll up will take effect.  From the dropdown, select a month.
   Recalculate	Toggle on to include the selected nodes in the recalculation for the target.
   Distribute Down	Toggle on to distribute the target down to the selected nodes.

5. Click Update Target.
