# User Management - 12.06.18

## **TL;DR**:

You no longer have to wait on Customer Success to add users, update org charts, or change roles and start dates for your users. Now, Atrium admin users can manage licenses and hierarchies for your teams within Atrium directly.

**Details:**

As administrative users of Atrium, we wanted to give you more control to see changes to your organizational structure and add and remove specific employees from Atrium access. Now, in Atrium, you’re able to update users and managers, change peer groups, note when a rep has been promoted, and even assign specific Salesforce accounts to a user in the event that someone’s Salesforce account changes.

When admin users log into Atrium, you’ll now see an option to “Edit Organization”, which will take you to this feature.

When you click that link, you’ll see the list of all current Atrium users within your organization, along with their functional discipline, the customer segment they work with, their manager, and their start date in their current role.

You can also choose to view Former employees or “Untracked” employees - those individuals with a Salesforce license but without an Atrium seat. If you’ve already created a Salesforce seat for a new employee, then showing Untracked Employees gives you a quick way to add an Atrium seat for those new hires.

Hitting that “Start Tracking” link will bring you to the “Add an Employee” screen, with the name and email address for that individual already completed.

When you complete the rest of the information, that individual will automatically be added into the org chart as an Atrium user and assigned the appropriate peer group based on the segment and discipline you’ve selected.

You can also click into any individual’s name to edit the information about that individual. This includes changing their name and assigning or revoking admin permissions…

...marking an employee as former when they exit the organization (or move to a different role in the company that isn’t tracked by Atrium)...

![image1.png](https://support.atriumhq.com/hc/article_attachments/360022562532/image1.png)

...fix incorrectly entered role information, or log a change in role, such as a promotion…

...or enter an alert reset date that tells the software not to consider any data before that date when calculating alerts, which you might use in the event of a major organizational shift that would make older data an inappropriate comparison.

Importantly, you aren’t on your own here - Your Atrium Success Manager is always happy to help with any organizational changes you need to log or to talk through any of the options in more detail.

We hope that this makes it easier for you to manage your organization in Atrium, and we welcome your feedback!
