# View document audit logs

Review the history of actions taken on your documents — such as adding, updating, sending, downloading, and archiving — in the audit log.

## Before you begin

Viewing audit logs requires administrator access.

## View audit logs

1. From within the **Documents** module, click the **menu ⋮**.
2. Click **Audit Logs**.
3. The audit log opens. The **Event Name** column shows each action that took place.
