This article is for Tenant Admins and Sys Admins. ## Before you begin - You need Tenant Admin or Sys Admin permission to change a user's MCP access level. - You need Tenant Admin permission to turn on MCP access for your tenant. ## Restore missing tools after an access level change Your agent's tool list is missing Fullcast tools you expect after an access level change. An access level change applies only to chats you start after the change. For level definitions, refer to [MCP access levels](/plan-and-pay/docs/mcp-access-levels). 1. In your artificial intelligence (AI) client, start a new chat. 2. Ask the agent to list the Fullcast tools it has available. 3. Compare the list to [Fullcast MCP tool reference](/plan-and-pay/docs/fullcast-mcp-tool-reference). 4. If tools are still missing, in your AI client's connector settings, disconnect the Fullcast connector. 5. Reconnect the Fullcast connector. For steps, refer to [Set up the model context protocol (MCP)](/plan-and-pay/docs/set-up-the-model-context-protocol-mcp). 6. When prompted, sign in to Fullcast. 7. Start a new chat. 8. Ask the agent to list the Fullcast tools it has available. ## Turn on MCP access for your tenant A connected user's **Sign-in methods** page shows only single sign-on (SSO) options and no MCP access section. MCP access is turned off for the tenant. 1. In **Settings** > **Application Settings** > **AI & Agents**, turn on **Enable MCP Access** if it's off. For steps, refer to [Enable AI features](/plan-and-pay/docs/enable-ai-features). 2. Refresh your browser, or log out and log back in. 3. Go to **Settings** > **User Management**. 4. Find the user. 5. Click the menu **⋮**. 6. Select **Sign-in methods**. 7. Confirm the **MCP access** section appears with a **Permissions** dropdown. ## Related - [Enable AI features](/enable-ai-features.md) - [MCP access levels](/mcp-access-levels.md) - [Set up the model context protocol (MCP)](/set-up-the-model-context-protocol-mcp.md) - [Fullcast MCP tool reference](/fullcast-mcp-tool-reference.md)
