# Set up the model context protocol (MCP)

MCP is an open protocol that standardizes how applications provide context to LLMs. Use the MCP to connect AI clients, like Claude, to Fullcast.

## Allowed AI clients

To help prevent phishing attacks within Fullcast, the following AI clients are whitelisted for integration with Fullcast:

- Claude
- ChatGPT
- Agentforce
- Cursor

## Connect Claude to Fullcast

Claude is the first AI client tested for integration with Fullcast’s MCP server. To connect other AI clients, refer to the clients’ MCP support page.

1. Contact your CSM to enable the assistant in Fullcast.
2. [Set up the custom connector in Claude](https://support.anthropic.com/en/articles/11175166-getting-started-with-custom-connectors-using-remote-mcp#h_3d1a65aded)—add the following Fullcast URL for the connector's remote MCP server URL: `https://asistant.fullcast.io/mcp`
3. Authenticate with Fullcast.

**Model context protocol:**An open standard, open-source framework introduced by Anthropic in 2024 to standardize the way artificial intelligence systems like large language models integrate and share data with external tools, systems, and data sources.

**Large language model:**A type of artificial intelligence that understands and generates human-like text by learning from vast amounts of data.

**Customer success manager:**A customer service support person who ensures customers achieve their desired outcomes and receive maximum value from Fullcast.
