Note: This process does not work in Salesforce Lightning. You must switch to Salesforce Classic to complete the process.
Access your Salesforce instance and switch to classic if applicable.

Access Setup and search for the appropriate object field. For example, if you’re editing fields added to the account object, search “account” and click fields.
Find the appropriate field and click DEL in the action column.
Confirm the deletion.
