# Reconfigure Salesforce connection after sandbox refresh

A Salesforce sandbox refresh will impact your Fullcast connection and settings. After the refresh, you'll need to manually reconfigure the application to ensure it works correctly.

## Reconfigure the Salesforce connection

1. [Set up the Connected App](/v1/docs/create-a-connected-app)—in Salesforce setup, find the **Fullcast Motion Module**connected app and confirm that the settings are correct. If you cannot Find the connected app, you may need to recreate it.
2. [Check the tenant ID in custom metadata](/v1/docs/adding-a-fullcast-tenant-id-to-salesforce-custom-metadata)—in Salesforce setup, navigate to **Custom Metadata Settings > Fullcast Setting** and check the Tenant ID.
3. [Authenticate the Connected App](/v1/docs/connect-fullcast-to-salesforce)—in Fullcast, navigate to **Settings** **> Policies** and paste the **Instance URL**, **Consumer Key**, and **Consumer Secret**.
4. [Authenticate the database connection](/v1/docs/connect-fullcast-to-salesforce#authenticate-the-connected-app)—authorize Salesforce for the integration layer connection.
5. [Import a job](/v1/docs/import-jobs)—run a full import job to confirm the connection is successful and update the data in Fullcast.

Once this is complete, you can resume sandbox work, such as testing routing policies.
