# Pin reports to a dashboard

Once you have [plotted the report](/v1/docs/create-a-temporary-report#create-a-report-from-a-module) from a module, you have the option to pin the report to a dashboard to save its configuration.

> [!NOTE]
> Note
>
> - Reports you create from the **Actions**menu in a module are temporary and will not save unless you pin the report to a dashboard.
> - You can only pin a report that you plot from the **Actions**menu in a module.
> - Once you pin the report to the dashboard, you can view and manage the report from that dashboard in **Reports**.
