# Edit custom fields in the commissions ledger

Edit custom fields for a single transaction or multiple transactions simultaneously in the commissions ledger.

## Edit custom fields

Use the mass edit option to edit multiple transactions and multiple fields simultaneously or multiple fields for a single transaction.

1. Expand the compensation plans and select the checkbox for each transaction you want to edit custom fields for.
2. Click **Mass Edit**.

3. From the **Field**dropdown, select the custom field you want to edit data for.
4. In the **Value**column, type what you want to update the data to.
5. Optional. If you want to update multiple fields click the plus and complete the **Field**and **Value**fields.

6. Click **Confirm**.
