# Manage folders

Edit or delete report folders.

1. Go to **Reports**.
2. Find the folder you want to manage.
3. Click the **menu ⋮**and complete the following as needed:

EditDelete

1. Click **Edit.**
2. Update the name, categories and description of the folder as needed.
3. Click **Save & Continue**.

> Note
> 
> [Delete all dashboards](/v1/docs/manage-dashboards) contained in the folder first—you cannot delete a folder that contains dashboards.

1. Click **Delete**.
2. In the confirmation window, click **Yes, Delete**.
