# Install or upgrade the managed package

The Fullcast managed package (motion package) provides a robust set of components that enable planning and execution between Fullcast and Salesforce including Apex code for back-end logic and custom objects for data management. It also provides a modern user interface through Lightning web components and pre-built permission sets to simplify user access.

> The managed package is not available in the Salesforce AppExchange and it will count toward your Salesforce limits. For more information on the objects and fields, refer to the [managed package field list](/v1/docs/managed-package-field-list).

## Before you begin

- Contact your CSM or implementation consultant to obtain the installation or upgrade URL.

## Install or upgrade the managed package

If you setting up the integration between Fullcast and Salesforce for the first time, you will install the Managed Package as a new package in Salesforce. If the Managed Package was already installed previously, you will upgrade the Managed Package with the [latest updates](/v1/docs/managed-package-release-notes).

1. Log in to your Salesforce account.
2. In the web address bar, append the package installation URL to your Salesforce URL after the `.com/`.

For example, `https://fcast-prod-training-dev-ed.develop.lightning.force.com/`[Managed Package URL]
3. Press `Enter`.
4. Complete the following steps to install or upgrade the managed package:

InstallUpgrade

1. On the **Install Fullcast.io Motion** page, select **Install for All Users**.
2. Select the acknowledgement.
3. Click **Install**.

4. On the **Approve Third-Party Access**window, select **Yes, grant access to third-party web site**.
5. Click **Continue**.
6. Click **Done**.

1. On the **Upgrade Fullcast.io Motion** page, select **Install for All Users**.
2. Select the acknowledgement.
3. Click **Upgrade**.

4. Click **Done**. You will receive an email notification once the installation has been completed.
