# Override field label created by managed packages in Salesforce

You can override field labels created by the managed package in Salesforce if needed, for example changing the label GTM to Territories to match internal terminology.

> It is not common to override the labels created by the managed package in Salesforce.

1. Go to **Setup > User Interface > Translation Workbench > Override**.

2. From the **Setup Component** dropdown, select **Custom Field**.
3. From the **Object**dropdown, select the object the field is located in.

4. Find the field label you want to change and double click in column **Field Label Override**.

5. Type the new label you want for that field.
6. Click **Save**.
