Filter and search on the transactions table

Search

Use the column search field to filter table data by search terms.

  1. Click on the search field at the top of the column.

  2. Type your search criteria.

    Note

    The table dynamically filters data based on related letters as you type.

Sort and arrange

Use the sort and arrange feature to organize the data in the transactions table, as needed.

  1. Click on the column title to sort the table by ascending ↑ or descending ↓ alphabetical order in the column.Gif showing the column sort functionality.

  2. Drag column headers in the order you want them to display in the table.

Group by

Use the group by feature to change how you view the transaction data based on selected groupings.

  1. Drag and drop column headers from the table to the group by field to group the data in the table based on the selected columns.

Filter by column

Use the filter option to customize what data displays in the transactions table.

  1. Click on the column filter option.

  2. Select the data you want to display from that column.

  3. Click OK.

    The filter option, check boxes, and Ok button highlighted to depict what you select for filtering.

Filter builder

Use the filter builder to customize the data that displays in the transactions table based on specified criteria.

  1. Click Create Filter at the bottom of the transactions table.

  2. Use the filter builder to filter transactions.

  3. Click OK.

Filter by payee

Use the payee drop down to displays all transactions the payee is assigned to.

  1. Click the payee dropdown.

  2. Search and select the payee you want to filter by.

Filter by time period

Use the time period drop down to filter transactions based on a period of time.

  1. Click the time period dropdown.

  2. Select the time period you want to filter by.

Column chooser

Use the Column Chooser to customize what column data displays in the transactions table.

  1. Click Column Chooser.

  2. Drag and drop column headers to and from table and the Column Chooser window.

Refresh

Use the refresh option to ensure you are viewing the latest transaction data.

  1. Click Refresh.

    Note

    The table may take a few seconds to pull in the latest data and reload.
