# Create folders

Create folders to organize dashboards, reports, and metrics.

1. Go to **Reports.**
2. Click the **New > Folder**.

3. In the **Add New Folder** window, complete the following fields:

| Field | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Name** | Type a unique name for the folder. |
| **Categories** | Select categories from the dropdown or type new categories and press `Enter`. |
| **Description** | Type a brief description of what reports will be organized in the folder. |
4. Click **Save & Continue**.
5. [Create and add dashboards](/v1/docs/create-a-dashboard) to the folder.
