# Create an event subscription

Subscribe to specific events in Fullcast to keep track of changes, spot problems, and automate tasks. Select to receive event details via email or through an HTTPS environment for auditing (Loggly, Better Stack).

1. In Fullcast, go to **Settings.**
2. Click **Audit > Event Subscription**.
3. Click **Add.**

4. From the Protocol dropdown, select how you want to receive event details.
  - **Email:**Sends details of events to the email.
  - **HTTPS:**Sends details of events to the HTTPS address (such as Loggly).
5. In the **Endpoint**field, type the email or HTTP address where the event details are sent.
6. From the **Topics**dropdown, select one or more categories for the event you want to subscribe to.
7. From the **Sub Topics** dropdown, select one or more subcategories for the event you want to subscribe to.
8. You will receive a confirmation via the endpoint you selected, complete the confirmation to receive details for the events you subscribed to.
