# Configure Contact Routing in Salesforce

Configure duplicate records.

1. Go to **Setup > Administer/Data Management/Duplicate Management > Duplicate Rules.**
2. Click **Standard Contact Duplicate Rule**.
3. select the checkbox for **Active** field.

> This ensures only the **Dealing with Duplicates** section in **Contact Routing** works
4. In the **Mapped**link, complete the fields based on the match percentage you need (refer to [field mapping in Salesforce](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.ddc_data_integration_field_mapping.htm&amp;type=5)):
  1. For a 100% match, complete all the fields.
  2. For a 50% match, complete at least half of the fields.
