# Configure auto rerun rules for fields

Configure auto rerun rules to only rerun rules on a record when a specific field is updated for accounts, employees, and products. Auto rerun rules run ever time the import job runs.

> Auto rerun rules are only available in a production environment and cannot be run in a sandbox or nonproduction environment.

## Configure auto rerun rules for specific fields

When **Field Update** option is selected, the rerun rules will trigger when a change is detected for that specific field and when it meets configured criteria. For example, you can configure to only rerun the rules on an account when the country field is changed and it’s in an unassigned territory or when the account becomes a customer and is in the SMB segment.

1. Go to **Settings > Entities & Fields**.
2. From the **Use Entity to modify existing fields** dropdown, select **Accounts** or **Opportunities** for the fields you want to include for the rerun rules.
3. Find the field you want to include for the rerun rules.
4. Click **View**.

5. On the **Field Update** window, select **Basic Information** tab.
6. Select the checkbox for **Field Update**.
7. Click **Confirm**.
