# Commissions Report

Commissions report displays data on commission entities which include accounts, commissions, people, and crediting transactions (only available in reports built from the **Territories**data source).

## Design a commissions report

1. [Create a report](/v1/docs/create-reports-in-a-dashboard).
2. In the chart designer, select **Commissions Report**from the right menu.
3. In the **Chart Title**field, type a unique name for the chart.

> If you don’t provide a name, the chart will populate a name.
4. Configure the following fields:

****Columns****

Select entities like assignments, people, roles, and territory that will display in columns on the table of the coverage report.

  1. From the **Entities**menu on the left, search for dimensions and measures.
  2. Drag and drop dimensions and measures to the **Columns**field.

****Timeline**(optional)**

Period of time you want to view the data against.

  1. From the **Entities**menu on the left, search for time based measures.
  2. Drag and drop measures to the **Timeline**field.

****Filters**(optional)**

Add criteria to customize the filters for the data:

  1. From the **Entities**menu on the left, search for dimensions and measures.
  2. Drag and drop dimensions and measures to the **Filters**field.
  3. In the **Operator**field, select the condition to filter the data by.
  4. In the **Value**field, add the value to filter the data by.
5. Click **Plot**.
