When you configure person-level targets in the Teams module, you may need to set a target for a position that hasn't been filled yet. Add a TBx placeholder role directly from the target management screen to set a target value for a planned hire (TBH), transfer (TBT), or replacement (TBR) without creating the coverage assignment first. When you add the TBx role, the system automatically creates the corresponding TBx placeholder record.
Note
You can only create a TBx placeholder on a target for a child node that includes person level targets.
Go to Teams > Manage Team Targets.
From the node menu select the child node for the target you want to add the placeholder to.
Find the target you want to add the placeholder to.
Click the menu â‹® > Target Details.
From the Targets section, click Actions > Add TBx Role.
From the dropdown, select an existing placeholder role or create a new role.
Next to (%) or (value), click Edit and type the target values for the placeholder.
Click Confirm. The system creates or adds a TBx placeholder and adds it to the target grid.
Note
If auto recalculation is enabled on the target, the TBx placeholder triggers automatic recalculation of dependent formula targets.
