Release Notes FY25 Q2
Features and UI
The July Q2 release consisted of feature enhancements and continued improvements to the user experience.
Features
Co-Pilot New Hire Policy
We’re excited to introduce the New Hire Policy feature in Co-Pilot. The New Hire Policy is designed to streamline and automate your team's onboarding process. Here’s how it works:
- Automated Detection: Co-Pilot automatically detects when a team member is added through an import event. If a team member is relocated within a team, Co-Pilot identifies this via a move/team operations action.
- Effective Date Management: The effective date of the new hire is set based on when the event occurs.
- Confirm the To Be Hired (TBH) Process: Co-Pilot searches for TBH positions under the same manager with matching attributes. If multiple TBHs match, Co-Pilot selects the one with the earliest start date to ensure a smooth transition.
- Assignment to Unassigned Territory: If no TBHs are found, Co-Pilot looks for unassigned territories that fit the role/type criteria and automatically assigns the new hire to the role. It prioritizes territories by the earliest date to ensure optimal assignment.
With the New Hire Policy feature in Co-Pilot, your onboarding process becomes more efficient and automated, allowing you to focus on growing and supporting your team.
To access and run the policy:
- Access your Fullcast instance and switch plans if applicable.
- Click Manage Policies by Territory on the Policies tile.
- Click New Policy and select the New Hire Policy.
People Search
Note: This feature is only available for managed packages 2.184 and above.
Where specific users are referenced, the People Search update enhances policy management by identifying policies. Key features of the People Search update are:
- Search Filter: A new search filter has been added to the policies list page, allowing you to find all policies that directly reference a specific person.
- Person Detail Page: We’ve added a new tab on the person details page which displays all policies where the user is specifically referenced.
- Workflows: Termination workflows have been updated to ensure that when a user is terminated, any policies referencing that user are updated or removed accordingly. Additionally, Co-Pilot workflows now automatically address policies involving referenced users.
- Licensing: Licensing operations now check if a user is referenced in any policies for specific users, returning policy IDs, their status, and the fields where the user is referenced.
Note: Employee Search feature is only available for managed packages 2.184 and above.
Bucket JSON Editor
Previously, adding advanced criteria to a segment’s rules required editing JSON code. We have now updated Fullcast to include a code-free UI solution within the segment configuration experience. This allows you to build advanced criteria without needing to learn how to edit JSON.
Capacity Planning Enhancements
We've introduced a new feature that allows you to move records within your data hierarchy. This provides greater flexibility in organizing your information. Additionally, we've added functionality to manage temporary or planned changes to your data, including the ability to create placeholders for future records. This update empowers you to optimize data structure and streamline workflows.
Known Metric Type
Currently, users can be created and deleted from the Settings panel. With the addition of the Metrics template feature, we will import metrics from templates and create them rather than having a user create them.
