Targets Schedule Adjustments
The purpose of this article is to provide information regarding schedule adjustments for targets.
Schedule Adjustments
Schedule adjustments provide a mechanism for modifying monthly target breakdowns based on various factors that may influence the achievement of those targets. There are two primary types of schedule adjustments:
Manual Adjustments
Manual adjustments are discretionary modifications made by an executive or sales manager. These adjustments are typically based on subjective factors and ground-level conditions that may not be easily quantified. This type of adjustment offers flexibility in adapting targets to specific circumstances.
Ramp-Based Productivity Adjustments
Ramp-based productivity adjustments are driven by the individual's performance and their progression towards full productivity. These adjustments are often expressed as a percentage of the monthly quota, reflecting the individual's ramp-up period. For instance, a ramp adjustment might be 0% in the initial months of the fiscal year, gradually increasing to 100% in subsequent months, indicating that the individual has reached full productivity.
Note: To apply any type of schedule adjustment, a schedule must already be in place.
